Temp to Perm £30,000 – £35,000 + benefits – Reading, Berkshire

 

Our client is looking for an experienced PA to work within the Reading Head Office. As the PA you will be supporting the Chief Executive, Board Director and Management Team on a day to day basis. This role requires a proactive approach with a natural communication style which will allow you to support the Key Stakeholders. Our client is looking to hire on a temp to perm basis.

Main Duties

  • Preparation of Board Reports
  • Typing of correspondence, minutes, reports and other documents
  • Organisation of meetings and providing hospitality support for meetings and visitors
  • Devising and maintaining office systems including data management and filing
  • Completion of mileage forms and expense claims on behalf of team
  • Recording invoice details/expenditure against project spreadsheets
  • Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests and handling responses where appropriate
  • Liaising with agents, suppliers and other staff
  • Arranging general inspections from time to time
  • Report distribution
  • Attendance at AGM and other ad hoc events
  • Ordering marketing material and consumables
  • Reception cover from time to time
  • Attendance at AGM and other ad hoc events

Skills

  • Previous secretarial/admin experience.
  • Good working knowledge of various applications – Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint
  • Excellent and accurate keyboard skills required with attention to detail
  • Taking care and attention on all correspondence and documentation
  • A methodical and organised approach with a keen eye for detail
  • Good organisational skills to ensure that the tasks are effectively scheduled within working time available, and that urgent work is completed and returned within the specified timescales
  • Work as part of a team ensuring telephones/lunch cover
  • Ability to deliver a quality service
